Role Description

The length of the Deputy Director’s appointment will normally be 3 years.

An indicative workload allocation for the role would be 0.02 FTE.
It is anticipated that over the period of appointment the Deputy Director of CePRA will

  • assist the Director of CePRA in developing new funding initiatives, assist with strategic planning, and to help facilitate events run by the membership;
  • assist  with the overall co-ordination of CePRA by managing electronic communications with the membership, by attending regular committee meetings and by acting as Reporter in committee meetings;
  • work with the Director to develop and maintain the CePRA web site and associated content;
  • carry out the duties of the role in accordance with the university values of professionalism, inclusiveness, integrity and community supporting the core value of academic excellence.

This role is not directly funded by CePRA at present. Applications for appointment / re-appointment will be considered by a committee of academic staff who are members of CePRA from each school/institute within PVAC, the Pro-Dean for Research and Director of Postgraduate Research Studies.
